We needed to upgrade our intruder alarm and wanted to add CCTV to our security system. From the initial review of our old system, Luke and his team were friendly and also they weren't pushy when it came to recommending what we needed. They made their recommendations, provided us with a quote the same day and let us make up our own minds. We were so pleased we chose Resistance as they were punctual, polite and professional. They kept us updated when they were going to be making a noise which was helpful as we work from home so may have been on a call. The final product was just what we wanted - would definitely recommend them to everybody.

I would recommend Resistance Fire & Security Systems every time. I have had alarm and camera systems fitted and recently a fire alarm system. Cannot fault their professionalism. Paul was very patient as I am not great with computers. They have always been punctual and efficient and I am always able to speak to someone if I have any questions. Top Marks. 10/10

Had a configuration issue with my DVR install, my latest camera was recording all of the time and chewing up hard drive space. Chatted to Luke and he came round a few days later. Sorted the issue within minutes and then cleaned all of my cameras, as I was paying for the hour (his suggestion) really pleased that this was sorted, ultra fast!

I found these chaps through a friend locally, My usual alarm service company had been bought out and the service went down hill. They did a service and added some extra features that I was looking for, I also recommended them to a Nieghbour who had a whole system installed, Clean ,Tidy, professional, and well mannered , just what I like from good tradesmen, highly recommend.

Our previous installer has changed hands twice and is now based in Yorkshire, so we wanted a good local company to replace the now out-of-date alarm system and take over its maintenance. Resistance Fire & Security could not have been a better choice. Luke and his colleagues did a fantastic job replacing our old system with a brand new, modern Pyronix system earlier this year. They were extremely professional, efficient and tidy, and yet also very relaxed. They explained the options carefully beforehand, provided lots of good advice and gave us very clear explanations on how to operate the system, both at home and remotely after completion.

Luke came to do service today on alarm and cctv - super professional and friendly - he even took his shoes off going in and out,, 👌 They fitted the system in 2016 and best thing we have done - they service it every year - would recommend these guys 100% thank you Luke and the team!,

I can’t praise Resistance Fire & Security enough. I have a very old alarm system which went wrong due to a power cut. I hadn’t had it serviced for years so needed to get it sorted by someone who would know this particular system. Initially I spoke to Steve who was very helpful and reassuring and then Paul came round promptly at 8am and he knew exactly what to do. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and resolved the issue completely so now the alarm system is in good working order, which is a huge relief. It is very rare to find such reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable people working for a company and I would strongly recommend Resistance Fire without hesitation.

Great job! Have already recommended Resistance Fire & Security Systems to several friends and neighbours, who are equally satisfied. I had an existing (20 year old) alarm system which had started to play up. Unlike some companies they did not recommend ripping the whole thing out, just replacing / adding sensors etc where needed. I have since had an extension built, and they have come back and again found practical approaches to working with my new room layout. Knowledgable, easy to talk to and competitively priced. Nuff said!

After requesting quotes for a cctv/security system, Luke contacted me within 24 hours unlike other companies who didnt answer me at all. The quote was competitive, there was no hard sell and Luke was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. On installation day, Luke and Mitch were prompt, tidy and explained to us how it all worked and have been very helpful when we have had a couple of questions after the installation. Having recently moved into the area we decided to have an alarm installed. We discovered Resistance Fire and Security Systems Ltd following a google search and we’re so glad that we did. One of the owners, Luke Byrne, contacted us immediately and arranged to visit us to make recommendations. Luke came across as a very honest and diligent person and after proceeding with his recommendations we have to say that we are delighted with the installation. Luke said to contact him if we had any questions or problems. I texted him over the Bank Holiday weekend with a question and he replied within ten minutes! You can’t ask for better service than that! We contacted a few alarm companies and these were by far the best we meet. They understood i worked shifts and had children so were flexible and able to work around me. They did not try the hard sell i told them what we wanted and they were happy to provide this. They set the system up and went through it all with me including setting up the app. Today we had a power cut and i couldnt remember how to reset the alarm. One quick email and i had a response within a matter of 5 minutes. Absolutely amazing service and would highly recommend.

From beginning to end the service was very professional. They came to look at what was required, discussed options, highlighted possible issues with the installation (which didn’t occur) but if they had done they had a plan to overcome them. They turned up promptly on the day, carried out the installation with little disturbance. They demonstrated how the system worked using the apps etc. All in all a very good job

We recently moved in a new warehouse in Welwyn Garden City. We was looking for a company to install a fire alarm and intruder alarm system. We invited Resistance Fire and Security systems Ltd to quote and advise us on what we would need. This company was A1, they advised us of what was needed and what wouldn't be needed, so not a take your money and run company. The staff where always on time, very professional and always cleaned up after them self's. We later had this company back to install a CCTV system, again A1 service.
